Tired, tired, tired

I don’t remember the last time I got a good night’s sleep. I feel like a zombie. I am sooo glad to be going on break now. Is this the right forum?

Zzzzzzzzzz.

Ugh, same here. Are you also busy getting ready for Passover? I suspect that’s a large part of why I’m so tired.

Interesting question. This alone might put it in the right forum, since you are asking us to opine on the proper location of your OP.

I however think your post is more of the mundane variety and should be moved.

Me too. :frowning: The worst part is that when it comes time for me to go to bed, I won’t be tired anymore. So I’ll stay up too late and be even tireder tomorrow. Maybe I should just take a nap anyway…

The baby, my husband and I have all had the same cold for nearly two weeks now. Please allow me to chime in, I’M TIRED.

Only sleeping every other night when you’re sick is really, really hard.

I thought I was tired, until I started working night shift. I now look back on my days of being awoken by a screaming one and a half year old as the best time of my life.

People don’t understand tired until they wake up behind the wheel of a moving vehicle in sudden terror. But even that isn’t the worst part. The worst is the bleak hopelessness of knowing that the situation will not change, that this is your life for the foreseeable future. It’s a realization that twists your soul into a knot, and casually tosses it in the trash.

I haven’t even started.

It’s just that I have periodic flare-ups of a mysterious sleeping disorder I’ve had since eleventh grade, and when I dorm I half-wake-up from about six to eight or nine because I can’t tell day from night because the building next door blocks all the sun, and last night the people in the dorm were being loud, and I was feeling really nauseous so I couldn’t ignore the noise and the insomnia.

At least when I’m at home only the first applies.

This sounds more like depression. Have you had that checked out? Depression can both cause tiredness as well as make natural tiredness much much worse. It wouldn’t hurt to check.

Yep. Tired because I can’t get enough sleep and tired of most of the things I must do during the day which makes me even more tired when I think about it.

I’m tired of being tired.

I don’t know if this is what you were trying for but now I can’t get this out my head.

I’m tired, tired of being tired.
