I even came up with a plot (waayyy too much time on my hands):

John Travolta plays Mickey as a psychotic bad guy who’s too cool for his own good (typical drummer). Billy Bob Thornton is Mike if he were mentally challenged, and writes songs like: “MMM…I likes that potted meat…MMMM-yup.” Kevin Spacey plays Peter as a mysterious bass-player-with-a-limp who isn’t quite what he seems, and Tim Roth’s Davey Jones just gets gut-shot.

In the end, Mike Nesmith kills everyone with a lawnmower blade, but Peter Tork just up and walks away at the very last. (Kaiser escapes the Kaiser blade. It makes sense, see?)

Paul Verhoeven’s Starship Showgirls

In my July 2001 issue of seventeen magazine, they have a contest where you can send in your own plot for Titanic II. Sad, eh? The editor also asks James Cameron why there’s no “buzz” about a sequel. Uh, I didn’t even see the first movie, but I know that there was only one Titanic (the ship). It kinda crashed. Maybe they will make it Titanic II: The Hindenburg, starring Rose and a new guy.
