imdb lists one film “in production”, don’t know if her work on that had finished . . .
. . . one film in “pre-production”, I imagine she hadn’t worked on that yet and will have to be replaced,
. . . but three films in “post-production”, so even if it’s just those three that is a lengthy posthumous filmography.
SNL just parodied Murphy recently. Don’t know how long it’ll stay on Hulu given the news…
I’d think she’s better known for at least four other films amongst her female demographic (which would be her core fans) but most entertainment writers are men, hence, the nod to her rather small role in “Sin City” over anything else.
It could be, but along with the drug rumors, she had a swirl of eating disorder rumors, and eating disorders can and do kill. Cardiac damage is frequent, add in another stressor and it can be a deadly situation, see: Karen Carpenter.
Despite the drug rumors, no one seems to have ever had anything bad to say about her. Her Hollywood friends and former co-stars on Twitter are all pointing out everything that was cool about her, and lamenting that lately things seem to have been falling apart for her, a six-month spiral. It’s a shame.
The LA coroner confirmed that she died this morning. It’s on the Wikipedia page now.

I only knew her from 8 Mile, but from just that she was my top choice to play Harley Quinn if they ever did a movie centered around her. 
I reported this last post. In my book, when someone dies at age 32, it is ALWAYS a loss.
Damn. I’m guessing drugs, that’s usually how these things go. Recent pics from a google search doesn’t quite paint her as a picture of health.
It’s too bad, I kinda liked her. She was cute, and I’m a sucker for those sexy raspy voices.
And you’re right Sage Rat. She would’ve made a perfect Harley Quinn. The role will have to go to Joey Lauren Adams now.
This makes me sad. I’ve always liked her since her cute role in Clueless. And her poor family–right before Christmas…
I saw her in “Just Married” with Ashton Kutcher. But I’ll always remember her for her 13 or so years as LuAnne on “King of the Hill”. I wonder if Adult Swim (which shows KOTH reruns) will have some kind of “In Memoriam” bumper. That would be a classy thing to do.
I’m know that I’m not her target demographic but I thought that she and Dakota Fanning did a good job in Uptown Girls.
I liked her in Clueless as well. Whenever I think of her, I think “Rollin’ with my homies…”
Seconded. She may have died from her own problems (drugs, eating disorders), but 32 is still too young to die, and that makes me a little sad.
I’m saying drugs and a rampant eating disorder. Home girl was TINY lately.

Weird, I just watched Neverwas from my Netflix queue, she was in it and I wondered what she was doing lately. Certainly didn’t expect this.
I thought the “Sin City” actress thing was a bit odd–I associated her with Clueless. Though I guess was Sin City more recent? Oh well. Sad either way–she was so young!
