Some pretty women become victims of their beauty. They get lots of attention for it, sometimes to the exclusion of attention for any other positive attributes. They get lots of perks. They don’t develop certain life-enhancing skills because they get what they need as a result of their looks. They can get to a point where they don’t have much to offer besides their looks.
Not all, though. My wife is pretty, and I truly expect a lifetime of happiness with her. She’s smart, capable, moral, and she can cook. I didn’t marry her because she was pretty, but it didn’t hurt.
Ugly wimmen are least likely to be kidnapped.
So, you got that going for you financially speaking.
In my experience the correlation is so weak as to be completely unreliable. As to the other, if I want a really good casserole, I’ll make one.

All I have to offer are antedotes and generalizations. But that is all anyone can offer on this subject.
However, in general, attractive women may have some problems with the endless attention they get. It may cause them to do things like test or manipulate men and/or feel they can do better. I would assume guys trying to sleep with you all the time and guys fawning over you will leave its mark on a person’s mind sooner or later, esp. considering how superifical and obsessed with romance/dating this culture is. I don’t think the generalization is true across the board, but I’m not willing to discount it totally, generalizations tend to be based on something. Many of the attractive women I’ve met had mental problems after I got to know them. Either anxiety or they tested men (in the sense that they were always trying to get them to do things for them or they responded positively to being ignored or treated bad) or they were just plain bipolar. Of course not all women are like that but in my limited, personal experience the attractive women were more likely to be that way than the plain women.
I remember what one guy who married an extremely attractive woman with a really bad personality told me “Go for the more plain women, their personalities are better and they respond better to affection, they don’t take it for granted”. Something like that.
Of course these are all generalization and I’m sure tons of attractive women will post on this thread and get angry.

To bring some biology to bear, this book discusses a study which found that, in a particular species of bird, males who had traits that females found attractive were “bad parents;” compared to other males, they generally spent more time seeking (and having) sex with females other than their mate, and less time helping their mate take care of their offspring. Similarly, “unattractive” males spent less time fooling around and more time with the kids. The researchers reason that attractive males can spread their genes more easily by having sex with lots of females, while unattractive males, who are less successful in courting females, are better off taking care of the kids they already have.
Caveat: female and male mating strategies are quite different, birds are not humans, etc.
