My Dearest David,

They say the first year of marriage is the hardest, but, in our case, I think “they” are wrong. For me, the past year has been the most joyous experience I could ever have imagined.

You are my best friend and confidante, always there with a hug and a smile when things get rough.

I love the way you’re always able to make me laugh even when I’m trying to put on my best pout. :stuck_out_tongue:

My heart still skips a beat whenever I look into those beautiful eyes of yours and my love for you grows stronger each day.
