Then to go the extra mile and send this drivel (which I have yet to determine if it’s things I’ve actually sent or if it has been made up) to my SO… that speaks volumes as to your motivations.
Listen, I don’t know exactly what you’ve done, because I haven’t actually seen these emails yet; I was just made aware of them today. But I work for a fucking ISP, you numnuts. I’m pretty bright, and I have some pretty bright friends. We’ll figure it out. Besides, “l33t” hackers like you must think you are always trip up.

I fet sick with fear when I found out about this. I felt violated, and freaked out, knowing someone is watching every message I send. Then I stopped and thought about it–I have nothing to be afraid of. I’m not doing anything I need to worry about, I’m not cheating on my SO, and I most definitely am not some “chat whore” that is having copious cybersex with my online buddies.
So if you’re trying to make me feel worthless, victimized, and afraid–I have some sad news for you, my dear virtual stalker. I’m not. Not for one second am I afraid that virtee (or any of my other friends you may be harrassing) is going to take your anonymous word over mine. Get the fuck over whatever obsessive, jealous possession you feel you have over me and get a life.
How dare you violate the privacy of the woman I love then try to chase me off with it.
If I catch you, and the chances are good that I will, I will watch you burn. After Rasa has her shot at you, I’ll take mine then we will toss whatever is left of you to our enraged friends.
You really aren’t worthy of this post. I almost didn’t say anything at all. You don’t deserve the recognition whether it is good or bad. I don’t know what motivated you to do this. If it was heartbreak, jealousy or just plain cruelty.

If virtee knows whatever’s being said isn’t true and YOU know it’s not, and anyone else who might get emails from this person knows it’s not, than it’s no big deal. We’re all better than to believe stupid shit from stupid fuck’s, Rasa. It’s all good. It’s still pretty shitty though. People suck.
Well, it IS a big deal if someone has A) Hacked/backdoored their way into someone’s computer/internet access/account info and has B) tried to damage their lives by doing so.
My advice: If you ever find their IP addy (and preferably their MAC address as well), turn the info in to the FBI. I’ve caught a couple hackers this way; they can get serious punishments for doing so.

Chances are, Rasa that they have you trojaned by NetBus or the like. I suggest you download the free trial offer of Zone Alarm by Zone Labs. It allows you to either grant or deny access to each person or program that tries to enter your computer. It also logs IP addresses and might be useful to nab the address of the sicko fuck. It might be useful to use at least for a week or more until “he”(could be a she) loses interest.
Also it would behoove you to download the trial copy of The Cleaner which scans your hard drive for all current copies of trojans and back doors. It is very effective and has saved by butt once or twice.
Yeah, the fact that people can read her email messages is a big deal. I’m saying that whatever rumors this person is trying to speard are NOT a big deal because no one’s going to take their word for it anyway.

Yeah, in the grand scheme of things, it’s not a big deal. So someone is reading my email and chats and IM’s and all that. Nothing there for me to hide. It’s just oogy, and you kind of feel violated. I know enough to realize that email isn’t private, and anyone with the know-how can do this, but it’s still pretty irksome when it happens to you.
My machine is behind a firewall, and I’ve just taken a bunch more precautions, so we’ll see what happens.
I’m off to go have cybersex with all my male friends so Mr. Stalker can have something fun to read.
uhhh… as someone who has recently been in a similar position, I have to disagree. People that are close may not believe the rumors, but anyone beyond that, people who may have turned out to be good friends, may and will believe rumors. There’s no telling what this person is spreading, and who they are telling. Rumors, even those that are completely unfounded, can be and often are very damaging. At the absolute least, the “victims” spend far too much time explaining things when hearing “Hey, I heard this about you… ummmmmmm”.
Turbo Dog, I hear ya. I’m assuming it’s only virtee that said coward is sending the email to, but who knows, really? I don’t have to explain myself to him, luckily–he trusts me.
The sheer cowardice of this is what makes me the angriest. Did they think virtee wasn’t going to tell me this was going on? Have the balls to step up and tell me what you think of me at least. Hiding behind spoofed IP’s is pretty pathetic.
Heh, I just read the emails. They’re total bullshit. It’s actual emails/IM’s/chats that I’ve written, but jumbled and taken out of context to look incriminating.

I don’t know what is going on here exactly, but I would like to express my complete and total confidence in Rasa. She would NEVER do anything dishonest, or even enter into what some might see as “shades of grey.”
To the person who is doing this, I would like to say that you are sick, twisted and vile. Whatever your reasons for doing this, they are wrong and you had best examine your motives and THEN examine why you chose this way to do whatever it is that you are trying to accomplish.
Those of us who know Rasa are not going to believe anything you have to say anyway, so please don’t bother to continue this harassment.

Scotti: Long story short, someone has been using a fake email address and sending the text of emails, instant messages and the like to virtee, to make it look like I’m cheating on him. Thanks for the confidence; I don’t have anything to worry about cuz virtee knows better. I’m lucky that way.
