That’s not true at all though, really. I know I get into a car every day, which exposes me to all kinds of hazards. People skydive (risking a big splat), and go horseback riding (risking paralysis), and play hours and hours of video games (risking carpal tunnel), and go boating (risking drowning) and on and on and on. Just because you don’t feel the benefits of any given activity are worth it when weighed against the potential hazards doesn’t mean someone else will feel the same way.

and yet nobody feels the need to form organisations to fight skydiving, why not ? lets make that shit illegal yo. lets make some people rot in jail. after all me or you dont plan to skydive what do we have to lose?
