Well, after 100 posts, and a bit more than a month, I have begun to really get a feel for the people around here.
So without further ado, here is my first appreciation thread.
This is a little shout out to all the ladies of the sdmb.
Whether its GingerOfTheNorth vigilantly guarding our northern borders by calling all the idiots Numpty,
or GeoBabe who’s always willing to lend a hand to a man in need,
or arden ranger and all the rest reminding me that most women are indeed not raving lunatics,
or mandelstam and BigGirl fighting the good fight for equality,
or jodi teaching idiot car salesmen that being a woman does not equal being an easy mark,
or jarbabyj for knowing what she wants and going after it,
or bunnygirl making us all incredibly jealous of thinksnow.
boy, this list could get long
You and all the rest of the ladies here have reminded me that there are indeed sane, intelligent, self confident
women out there and that perhaps I have been looking in the wrong places.
So I tip my hat to you all and say, please stick around, without you,
this board would miss out on some of the wittiest, most intelligent minds I’ve ever seen.
Y’know, Super, you were the first, and thus far only, person to offer me consolation sex after Sua and I broke up, and I want you to know that it touched me deeply, and I won’t soon forget it. You are truly a super dude.
