I had a great birthday (and I didn’t even have to bring out the vodka!). Todai was good-- I’m full of teri chicken, teri salmon, sushi, and crab legs. I also found a bead shop in Redmond and wound up spending $65 on various items I can’t even remember right now. Evil, evil things, bead stores are.
Roomie gave me a cute card and a ton of Magic cards (yes, we’re geeks), including a nasty Dragon deck he made. (We tested it out when we got home, and it kicks ass. See, Kilnmouth Dragon has Amplify 3, so when I revealed two Eternal Dragons and a couple of Dragon Tyrants… fun fun fun!) Parents and grandparents sent money and snacks.
Now I’m going to jump into bed and read some Palahniuk.
Yay.
