I have in my hand a small piece (not even an article, just an image with a caption) from the Great Falls Tribune from July 4, 2005 that features this self-same dog, although with a different (and, in my opinion, better) picture.
It isn’t online, which isn’t surprising. But this thread, posted by our own inimitable Eve, dates from July 1, 2005. It is not hard to scoop the Great Falls Tribune.
