I called her too RT, she does sound good.
Much pain. Can’t sleep. They are being very stingy with the meds. No drip at all, just the occassional shot in the butt.
How do they find it? It must be a tiny target

Here is what my surgeon said when I had Rob call him at 2am to discuss pain meds. He gives everyone the morphine pump, yet I didn’t have one and was only allowed one shot of stuff every 4 hrs and it wasn’t cutting it.
He said that the reason was that the anesthesiologist said gthat I had really big tonsils, and that it could make it hard for me to breathe if I was on heavier meds. WTF? So they started giving me better meds provided I put an oxygen thing on.
I got almost 2 hours of sleep last night, once they medicated me properly.
I’ve currently got some sort of mask on gassing me with damp fog that smells like celery. It’s a bronchodilator.
My roommate is feeling a lot better, thankfully. She had a really rough night 
Didja explain to the doc that it’s not the size of the tonsils that count, but how you use 'em?

So now it turns out that I WAS supposed to have the pain pump. The anesthesiologist on right now is starting to investigate. He seems pretty pissed off about it and says he will call me when he finds out who dropped the ball.
Tell him you have lots of friends who’ll come have words with him if he does pull his finger out and make sure you are comfortable.

I hope your recovery goes well. I had surgery last Christmas and it was NOT fun. I wasn’t allowed to eat solid foods for a month. On the plus side though, I did get to play about 8 hours a day of Grand Theft Auto 3.
