Too many DeLay threads

Remember that scene at the beginning of Robocop, where the ED-209 has its guns locked and loaded and is ready to kill that poor executive, and all the other execs are shoving him away so they don’t get hit when the bullets start flying?

This is starting to look like that scene.

The Good Ship Frist tacks ever so slightly to port.
“When we think judicial decisions are outside mainstream American values, we will say so.”

What is really scary is not that Senate Dems have blocked 10 judicial nominations of “people of faith”, but that they helped confirm 204 others who are presumably atheists and Ozzy Osbourne devotees.
I fear for America.

Of course, Frist’s participation in that nutjob circle-jerk called “Justice Sunday” shows me that his judgment ain’t that great to begin with.

More on Bill Frist’s “top legislative priorities”.

Something that’s bothered me for past couple of days (Copy / Paste 4/28/05 7:23PM EDT):

Even the threads have subsided. What happened to Yahoo political story updates? Isn’t the President supposed to be obfuscating tonight?

And this just in…

Records show DeLay, Lobbyist Daily Contact

“…They provide a day-by-day account of the lobbyist’s campaign of fundraising, trip-providing and schmoozing with lawmakers in both parties aimed at getting Congress to block Clinton administration efforts to regulate alleged “sweatshop” garment factories in the Northern Marianas. Those rules were never enacted…”

Sweatshops. Be back in a bit, gotta go puke my guts out.

posted today in GD. If that’s some sort of rule violation, I have every confidence I will be advised.
