I heard a song recently that I’d like to track down but Shazam loaded a second too slowly so I missed out on the 21st century solution.
I would say the song is rock or pop or somewhere in between. The only thing I can remember offhand is that the end of the song is a guy singing “what are you waiting for?” a few times. It is definitely not Nickelback. In fact, I am pretty sure “What are you waiting for?” is not the title of the song. Unfortunately this is such a common sentiment in music that even the lyrical archives of Genius.com return no usable results.
The singer is male and has a voice somewhat like Nathaniel Rateliff. For some reason I find myself thinking that my mystery artist is the lead singer of a band doing a solo project. And I can’t narrow down a timeline for the song but it seems recent. Any human Shazams out there who can help me source this one? Thanks!
