For a second there, when Jinks was looking at Claudia, I thought they were about to back off on the idea of him being gay, which would have been bewildering. It was nice to see an episode where he didn’t go around being Mr. Lie Detector; you can’t go to that well too often. I really liked the part where the guy mistakes them for Star Trek fans who have crashed the event. I was a little disappointed that Grant’s flask didn’t have a bigger, badder effect, but I guess that not every artifact can be a world-destroyer. All in all, a pretty decent episode.
I have not been a dedicated watcher of this show from the start, but has it ever been explained how the agents travel from one city to the next so fast? Last night they went from the Warehouse to somewhere in Palo Alto in “minutes” to save “Doug” (:)) I assume there is an artifact at work?
I already erased the episodes but was there any point where the evil FBI agent said something that Jenks could have determined was a lie? I guess I have to assume she knows about his power and was careful not to say anything that could be shown to be a lie.
They need to decide what to do with Pete’s hair. They keep giving him hairdos that make it look like he has a combover – and perhaps he does – but in a different way each time. He looked fine last season, so unless he’s started shedding like a cat over the last year, they should just go back to his old look. Otherwise, he needs to accept the bald and work with it, cause the do’s just look wonky.
I’m assuming that she has some special power that prevents her from being detectable as a liar.
Great question. I’m not sure.
By the way, that press release from the Scifi channel(OK…Syfy) says Warehouse 13 is the most watched show in their history.
I had no idea.
I said to my wife that it must’ve been an artifact at work. Or some GD device on loan.
Jack Bauer’s SUV.
I can believe that. Jack didn’t need it anymore.
What happened to the football?
So I haven’t missed it - good. But they’re going to have to address this, right? There have been past episodes that made me say “Hey wait a minute…” but this week’s teleportation from SD to Palo Alto was egregious.
Did they say how long the trip took? I thought it was just “Fargo is in trouble,” cut to commercial, “we’re in California now.”
No, they didn’t. I think what’s throwing people is that when asked how long Fargo’s heart rate was elevated their lacky said “a few minutes” which seems to imply that it only took them minutes to get there. But if you watch the rest of the episode their heart rates vary, so I think they meant to imply a few minutes total, not that it had only been a few minutes since the distress call.
Yes, what he actually said was “A few minutes - it goes up and down” I don’t think there was any suggestion on their part that they got there particularly quickly.
Anybody notice the Star Trek music playing during Pete’s fight with the monster?
Did anyone notice that Alphas is now in the same universe as Warehouse 13?
Yeah, I LOL’d at that!
Yup, thanks to Lindsay Wagner’s character appearing in both. So Eureka, WH13, and Alphas are all linked.
Cute dog in tonight’s episode. Looks like the Warehouse has a mascot now.
Did Pete call Myka “Chloe” over the walkie-talkie at the start? Was that a “24” reference?
Not a bad episode, overall. Even though I don’t like Evil Sally very much, I think that I would have accepted a scene wherein she reported to her unseen master and said, “Here’s your, uh, magic doorknob, sir.” That would have amused me.
