Am I the only one here still watching?
Wow, I didn’t realize there were only 6 episodes for this final season. I’ve enjoyed the season, though I’ve only seen the first three so far.
I watch. It has been hit and miss, but I am glad they are allowing the show to go out with a finale.
I’ve been saving them up for a binge watch but gave in and watched the first 3 last night.
I’m glad they’re giving them a send off, the show deserves it.
I got the missus all caught up, and we’ve been watching the final episodes on demand, usually the weekend after they air. They’re clearly doing a little “what the hell” justifying of stuff they’ve probably had in the back of their minds for a while. Seems like the last episode we watched had an unusually high amount of continuity nods, including mentioning Josh, but I still can’t help wondering where he is with all the Claire stuff.
Holy crap, I was waiting for this season to start! Well, I’m bowing out of this thread before I’m spoiled. Catch you after I’ve seem them all!
I’m really hoping the finale has a good part for Steve (a boyfriend?) and Artie and Mrs. Fredericks (we really haven’t seen a lot about her background). I am really going to miss the show and, in fact, dreamed about it last night after watching it.
It appears that the new Librarian TV show, might have a similar theme. At least the one scene I saw pictured was of a giant warehouse. The cast there will have a lot to live up too, though, because of the movies.

Not long after Aaron Ashmore joined the show, I predicted that they would find a way to split his character into two people, seeing as how Ashmore’s identical twin brother is also an actor. And, indeed, this season featured a show where that indeed took place. Guess what? His brother was unavailable for filming at the time. Cracks me up, man.
The new TNT series The Librarians, an off-shoot of the Librarian tv movies with Noah Wyle, seems to have a solid cast with team members Rebecca Romijn and Christian Kane(no stranger to this genre), caretaker John Larroquette, with Matt Frewer as the series bad guy.
I’m watching it tomorrow, but did any of you watch it tonight? Was it…good?
Well, I’ve seen it now so I’ll give my thoughts.
It was pretty good, but not an amazing finale. I am happy that the show got a proper ending, though.
It was ok. I don’t like that Pete and Myka got together, although they’ve been hinting at that to varying degrees for quite some time. It seems like every male/female partner combo gets together now (Castle, Haven, Eureka, House of Lies) and it’s really ok for them not to fall in love and be together. That’s one thing I really like about The Bridge, that it appears the two leads won’t get together. It seems to me that the will they/won’t they was the way to do things in the 80s (Moonlighting, Cheers) so now the pendulum has swung the other way and everyone has to get together, even if it doesn’t make much sense.
I enjoyed the ending but am very sad. I don’t know what I’m going to watch in it’s place next week or what is going to replace it in my heart.
I was mostly satisfied with the episode. I particularly enjoyed the round table scenes of each person’s ‘defining moment’. Claudia becomes the new Mrs. Fredericks but what happens to the old Mrs. Fredericks?
Steve was left out, kinda. No boyfriend there.
And Artie? Will he head out and just bunk with his son, now?
I also wasn’t very satisfied with Pete and Myka getting ’ together’. It seems just too obvious. I have been slow to finish Bones because I’m afraid that Bones and the FBI buy will end up jumping in the sack.
I would have been interested in a little more of ‘what are we going to do afterward’. Of course, except for one scene, we really don’t know how much longer the warehouse is going to be around, but I can’t imagine that it will be easy for the agents to go back to normal Secret Service work after the warehouse.
I can now remove the Warehouse 13 timer from my DVR and go back to the beginning of the series and start over.
I’ll miss you Warehouse 13.

The series finale was fine, I guess. But having a clip show – even one that uses new footage for the clips instead of recycling old stuff – just reminds me how much I absolutely loathed the series finale of The X-Files.
To me, it was a middling series with a good cast and good characters. The artifact aspect got a little fast & loose I thought, particularly towards the end, but I mostly watched it for the people.
They forced Pete and Mika a bit - maybe if Pete hadn’t been quite as much a man-child I would have bought into it a bit more. I don’t mind that they ended up together, but it just seemed a little hamhandedly done.
Claudia becomes the new Caretaker. She didn’t want to be. Kind of sad, but maybe she had some good years as an agent and was ready by the time she took the job.
I liked the roundtable bit, and it allowed them to flash back to random events and tell the story that related to it. I laughed at the musical dance number, and watched it again already.
I like to assume that everyone just went on with their agent jobs for awhile until they decided it was time to move on. Mrs. Fredericks eventually sets sail for the Grey Havens. Artie left in a couple years to go live with his son and his grandchildren, and one of the remaining agents took over for Artie. They picked up a few more agents, yadda yadda yadda, everyone had moved on to their life’s work within ten years,* of their own volition, with a ton of great memories and something of their choosing to keep them occupied.
They left it vague for a reason: why NOT make it a happy ending?
- well, everyone but Claudia.
In the closing flashforward, Claudia scoffs at the new crew who are worried about the Warehouse moving, with an offhand dismissal about how many times she’s heard that the Warehouse was moving. It was obviously intended to imply that, despite all that went down prior to that in the episode, Warehouse 13 didn’t actually move at that time. So all the agents presumably continued on for a while longer.
Another show did it this week, too, though I won’t mention it for fear of spoilage.
Well, that was poorly worded. What I meant was that it was left vague so that the viewer could reach his or her own conclusion. I chose a happily-ever-after ending since it’s that kind of series, and we have enough harsh reality elsewhere.
I enjoyed it, and am now both happy and sad that I’ve regained another hour of my life from the TV. Pete and Myka were destined, simply because of the job requirements. Pete couldn’t ever tell anyone else what he does, and Myka was mostly stand-offish to other people. They pretty much couldn’t develop a relationship with outsiders.
I’ve lost 7 shows I’ve followed over the past year or so, and little to replace them. What will I do with all my free time? RIP Breaking Bad, Burn Notice, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Raising Hope, The Glades, Suburgatory and Community, with White Collar and Justified both going into their last season. Welcome aboard Sleepy Hollow and Marvel Agents of SHIELD. (One-and-done shows not counted)
There’s a really good podcast interview here with the showrunner, Jack Kenny, who also cameoed in the final scene in the final episode.
