Howdy Y’all! We deheathenated, got back to da cave, had a nosh, achieved nappage, sup got made and et, the kitchen got cleanded up and the biiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can got hauled all the way down to the road for pick up tomorrow. Also, leftovers for sup tomorrow, so win-win on that.
MOOOOOOM sorry about the in-law worries. Here’s hopin’ FCD does not have to make the trip tomorrow, espically since the both of you will in a couple of weeks.

Cracker Barrel is good for breakfast. Otherwise, meh. Good, but not great food.

It was delivered to the (unused) side door.

It had to be!
No trip to FL tomorrow. Turns out MIL decided to change FIL’s med dosage, because, reasons… 
FCD told her why it was a bad idea and when she got him back on his correct dose, he was doing better. So maybe they’ll do OK till we get there next month. Who knows…
Supper has been ingested and the house is filled with the yummy scent of the blueberry crisp that I baked - YUM!!! Fresh blueberries were on sale at Food Lion. We shall sample it later this evening.
I tended to the planters on the deck, and tomorrow, I’ll attack yardwork in earnest. I also tread the mill for an hour. Not a total slug today, just a semi-slug.
Wow, today was warm enough for just a light hoodie!
Also, I got a dollar-an-hour raise, so 
woo-hoo for me!
The cynical part of me knows it’s partly because other dispensaries are opening, but hey! I’ll take it!
Supposed to have a rat buyer coming by in a bit - guy just wants a single rat, barely worth my while, and he’s flaked on me multiple times before.
Good thing I just want to relax for a moment and let the cats enjoy the final dregs of sunshine, so I don’t mind sitting around and waiting.
But he better show up before I figure out what the heck I want for dinner!

Yay for seeing your kids soon nellie! As far as CB goes, like Moooooom says, it’s pretty much comfort food with a kitchy country store in the entrance. Their breakfasts are way too carb heavy for me, but when I’m traveling in cool weather, I will stop at one in southern Indiana for a salad for lunch.

Once this plague is over, Nelson and I may have to make a road trip for the two of you to meet.

I got the Sunday chores done and made omelet stuffed bell peppers and a zucchini - tomato casserole for supper. There was enough garlic in both dishes that I shouldn’t have to worry about a vampire attack anytime soon.

Evening all. Except for solving all the Sudoku’s and Jumbles in the Sunday Paper and taking a long bath, nothing much was accomplished at Casa Rat today. Soccer practice will hopefully start back up tomorrow since there is no rain in the forecast, but being N. Ali-bama I trust that about as far as I could punt it…
FCM, glad FCD doesn’t have to travel again, that can wear you down. And haven’t been on Holland America IIRC, mostly Royal Caribbean, but I hear good things about them.

nellie, I eat at Cracker Barrel once every couple of months, and like other say, it’s comfort food relatively fast and pretty good for the price.
