A friend has looked high and low and can’t seem to find an actual date for when the new Torchwood episodes will start. I found it on the BBC America site saying the new season was coming in 2009, but that’s as close as I came.
Anyone have anything more specific?
Well BBC America is promoting Torchwood: Children of the Earth as coming soon. This seems to be a different thing from the last series, but is billed as “Series 3” on imdb
Not sure if it will have Mickey and Martha in it.
Yeah, “Torchwood: Children of Earth” is considered the third season. It will be a 5 episode arc that will air on 5 consecutive nights, probably in July.
We don’t know when it’ll be airing on the actual BBC yet, let alone when you guys will get it across the pond. Best guess in July-ish.
I’m still waiting for my Dr. Who christmas episode.
Okay, good. So it’s not a failure of the search capabilities of two professional librarians.
We were both getting a little worried. 
Wait no longer! (Well, one more month.) “The Next Doctor” will be shown on BBC-America on June 27th (because what better time to see a Christmas episode than in the middle of summer…) & “Planet of the Dead” will follow in July. Maybe this means we could get the remaining specials soon after they air in the UK.

“Being Human” will air on BBC America starting July 25th by the way. July 27th is the Dr Who special.
But you’re not alone at being frustrated by having trouble figuring out when things air on BBCA. I’ve failed to figure out how to get on an email list on their website - anyone have any ideas? The one thing I’ve seen that seems sort of like an email list requires a long series of forms to be filled out so I’m guessing that’s for media people.
Right now I’m using myepisodes.com to help me, but it doesn’t have an easy way to differentiate between new episodes on the BBC and on BBCA.
It’s annoying to have to check the BBCA website every week to see if it’s been updated.
