… when is Scott Downs coming back and will he get his closer job back??

According to Blue Jays’ writer Jordan Bastian’s twitter account, Manager Cito Gaston says that closer Scott Downs will come off the DL on July 3rd when first eligible.

Our View:Downs injured himself batting in inter-league play, but fantasy owners can breath a sigh of relief as he appears to be very close to returning. Downs has been very impressive in the closer’s role this season and should be inserted back into lineups as soon as he returns.
