Toronto Maple Leafs Tickets?

Hi, hockey fans from the capitol of Canuckistan, I have a question on the optimum solution for acquiring a ticket to a Leafs tilt at the Air Canada Centre (Center!).

My company is sending me to the T Dot for a couple days on a customer call and I figure while there I’ll take in a Leafs game. Luckily for me, they are playing at home against the Coyotes that night. I’ll only need one seat as I’ll be flying solo.

There must be a smart way to do this - I know hockey tickets in Toranna are a tough get. Stubhub has some options, 300 level singles for a little over a $130 USD, but I’m wondering if the prices will improve as the game gets closer for a single seat. Is it lunacy to think I can scalp a single at the gate beforehand for a reasonable price? How tough are the cops on scalping in the great white North?

Thanks for the help, I know there are a few locals around these parts that might have some savvy advice.

Everyone hates the Leafs

No advice on getting tickets, but if you get near the glass and can catch reasonably well you might be able to snag a passing jersey as it heads toward the ice.

All joking aside, there will certainly be scalpers out and about. No idea what they charge though.

I just went to the Air Canada Centre site and, to me anyway, it looks like there are only 4 300 level single seats remaining for that game.

Snag one while you can.
