Probably it was, because the reporter wasn’t in a position to know anyone was running past, unless the camera operator pointed it out, which is unlikely.
I’d think she should have kept her composure, but if it was really noxious, maybe she needed a second to get it together.

I am pretty sure the fart noise is fake. The scissors is a pretty impressive fake for college kids if it is one.
Faked or not, I started giggling as soon as I saw the title.
It’s a clip from a show over here called Skithouse.
What’s weird for me about this show is that three of the guys on the show are from a comedy musical group called Tripod, and awhile back I was doing stand-up comedy and toured the south of our state with them for a couple of shows. Genuinely nice guys.

I’ve seen the clip on other sites, same clip but no fart. Also, if you think about it, that would have to have been one sonic boom of a fart to have been heard that clearly on the directional mikes they have to use for outdoor shoots. As for the other, I ain’t buying that one at all.
Oh man, that subtitles video is comedic genius. Very much in the style of Monty Python too, which is difficult to pull off.

The octopus video is real. In a weird coincidence, I saw that very clip on PBS ealier this week. It’s neat stuff.

The fart noise is definitely faked. In the original, the guy yells as he runs past.
