TP Roll Poll! Which way does your toilet paper go?

I abstained.

This is one of those arguments that I find so silly that it’s almost physically painful.

I mean, come on, you get excited about proper toilet paper hanging.
When I stick a roll on now I make sure that I grab the roll without looking, jab the bar through, and stick it back so that i don’t know how it will come out until it’s over.

A much more mature approach.

It circles round and round about 5 times clockwise and disappears down the middle.

A. The rest of you are kitten eating heathens.

That was Cottonelle. Go over!

It’s so adorable that you think you can tell cats what to do.

Over the top, and I have indoor 9 cats.

Normally over the top, but the holder-bar-thingy mysteriously disappeared a couple of months ago so now the roll just sits sideways on top of the radiator.

I abstained, as until the furry terrors get over their fascination with TP it will be kept in the vanity.

I’ve now changed to the over the top way in both bathrooms; I think I’ve been wrong all these years but better late than never.

I’m an over: hubby’s an under, if it makes it on the roll at all. Most of the time he just puts the roll on the back of the toilet. We have a mixed marriage.

Whichever way happens to result from me putting the roll on the holder. Sometimes its one way; sometimes t’other.

it goes on end sitting on the counter.

I make mine mind when it comes to what rooms they’re allowed in. Sorry you can’t.

Yes, our cat knows not to come into our bedroom, and obeys. We’ve had him since 1995. It can be done.

Because that is where the cat box is.

I have lived with family and roommates my entire life, and you and one other are the only ones of everyone EVER who really doesn’t care or notice…

And I have only your word on something you claim not to notice…

Every motel or hotel from Motel 6 to the St. Regis hangs it over the top.

Every public bathroom from the downtown bus station john to the top convention center in town hangs it over the top.

If you hang it the other way, it usually does not stay in place and rolls down the wall and hits the floor.

Over the top. No other way. I have been known to change it in other people’s bathrooms (yes, it’s kind of jerkish, I don’t do it anymore). I don’t like my TP to touch the wall. And my cat doesn’t attack it, so she’s not an issue.

And as she came into my life as an 8-year-old Siamese the chance of my training her to do anything is pretty much nil. It’s more the other way around.

Because I keep their water in the bathtub. I got sick of stepping in puddles in the kitchen so I put the water dish where I didn’t care if it got spilled. So for now I’m a “backside” guy, but prior to these two cats I was always an “over” guy.

It’s underhanded to post a poll on this topic without searching, but complaining about that is over the top.
