This is one of those arguments that I find so silly that it’s almost physically painful.
I mean, come on, you get excited about proper toilet paper hanging.
When I stick a roll on now I make sure that I grab the roll without looking, jab the bar through, and stick it back so that i don’t know how it will come out until it’s over.
Normally over the top, but the holder-bar-thingy mysteriously disappeared a couple of months ago so now the roll just sits sideways on top of the radiator.
I’m an over: hubby’s an under, if it makes it on the roll at all. Most of the time he just puts the roll on the back of the toilet. We have a mixed marriage.
Over the top. No other way. I have been known to change it in other people’s bathrooms (yes, it’s kind of jerkish, I don’t do it anymore). I don’t like my TP to touch the wall. And my cat doesn’t attack it, so she’s not an issue.
And as she came into my life as an 8-year-old Siamese the chance of my training her to do anything is pretty much nil. It’s more the other way around.
Because I keep their water in the bathtub. I got sick of stepping in puddles in the kitchen so I put the water dish where I didn’t care if it got spilled. So for now I’m a “backside” guy, but prior to these two cats I was always an “over” guy.
