Tracy Morgan crashed his $2 million Bugatti in New York

It was 1982 and I was reporting what happened. I apologize for ruffling your feathers.

Which is exactly why I supplied the link.

FWIW, there’s a 427 AC owned in the vicinity (exactly like the one in the photo) I’ve seen tooling around on the freeway a few times. The female half of the couple has been driving it about as much as the male half, and looks to be thoroughly enjoying herself.

It seems there is some doubt of the viability of driving a supercar in New York.
While I am never going to experience that first hand, I did spot this earlier today:

Driving a $2,000,000 Lamborghini Centenario in New York.

It’s rather hard work but she manages OK - not her first time driving supercars, this is probably one of the tamer ones and she does have her own Lambo too (“Lucy”)

Did you notice how carefully she took that patch of rough road after she turned into 51st St.?

It’s obviously possible to drive a supercar in NYC, but apart from all the attention you get (which would probably get annoying pretty quickly) not really a lot of fun, IMHO.

Yes, the road surfaces look dreadful and I’m sure a supercar wouldn’t fare well for long.
There was the mention though that it would be more likely to be used out of town where it would come into it’s element.

Interestingly she did drive a Veyron special - “Porcelain” of which there is only one example and she was only the third person to drive it - in Dubai, where she had to be very careful around speed bumps.

I’m a little surprised he didn’t lose the car to a pothole, like this guy.

This just in: What does it cost to fix a fender bender on a grand new $2 million dollar car? $32,000

Not including labor, plus an estimated $200,000 loss in value because it’s been in an accident. Ouch.

Did they ever determine who was at fault? It certainly looked like the Honda driver to me, based on the pictures after the fact.
