Trailer Park Boys live?

I get a monthly email from the Wilbur Theater in Boston and see that The Trailer Park Boys will be there next month.

I loved the show, but can’t quite grasp a live show with the 3 of them.

Has anyone been to one of their shows? What exactly does it entail? Worth seeing?

Woah, I didn’t know they were doing live shows in the US.

I’d probably go see this - they’re coming to Cleveland on Jan 15. I just need to figure out how much tickets cost. If it’s under $50 I think I’d definitely go.

Unless someone pops in this thread and tells us it’s all shit…

It’s only an eastern tour, bastards!

Looks like the Cleveland show is 42.50 and here’s a link to the shows:

Yeah, juuuust found that price before you posted. I see that Row 1, seats 1 and 2 are available. I’m guessing no one has bought tickets yet…

Now I have to see which one of my friends that I’ve begged to watch the TPB discs I’ve made for them has actually watched said discs and thinks this would be a fun date.

Hopefully, they’ll kidnap Rush and bring them.

That would be so awesome! At the very least kidnap Alex again.

Aww man, I just got done doing a Turkey day marathon of the show. Fingers crossed that they’re coming to the midwest.

I saw them at a sold out show in Chicago recently. I was quite a funny show. Julien, Ricky, and Bubbles were there with various other characters showing up via “live” video feeds. The show was a lot like a normal episode. They guys had a few money-making schemes - eg: selling hot dogs to the audience. Bubbles was trying to make an audition video for a TV show, and that involved them acting out different scenes in an attempt to highlight Bubbles’ acting skills. There was a decent amount of audience interaction, but always in character. Also, lots of alcohol and weed jokes/banter.

They broke character at the end of the show and said they were blown away that they sold out. They had no idea they that large of a fan base in Chicago. I think they said it was their first US show, too.

Sweet!

Now I have to wait until tickets go on sale on Friday. If they’re under $50, I’m there.

Just saw that this tour is coming to Des Moines (whodathunkit) and wanted to double check, since this thread is so old. Anyone else go? Any 2nd opinions?
