There are a couple of pictures of Treebeard over at a Finnish fan site. Here’s the site; it’s an assortment of pictures, but Treebeard is featured in two of them getting near the bottom of this page. His name in Finnish is “Stromovous,” apparently.

I got a catalog today for an action figure company called “Entertainment Earth”. Flipping through it, there’s a picture of the Treebeard action figure. They could’ve had the decency to use a spoiler box like here on the SDMB.
Oooh, I hadn’t explored beyond the first page earlier when I posted. On the next page, there are some great promo stills from TTT. The best is the picture of Frodo holding Sting to Gollum’s throat. Spoilers, you guys – you’re warned.
Screw Treebeard! I mean, he looks great and all, but that picture of Gollum… wow. I’m hoping that was a digital shot and not a puppet cause that’s prolly the first time I’ve seen a cg character that looks real.

Czech, eh? I was baffled as to the languge, so I asked folks here at the office. Three out of five clueless individuals guessed it was Finnish, so that’s what I’ve been assuming. Didn’t see the “cz” in the URL. Duh!
