This thread is to one of the SDMB’s finest. I believe that he does not get the recognition he deserves. Always entertaining, informative and on point, the poster in question is one of the greatest assets to this board we have.

it was this thread that prompted me to start this. Tom~ has given so much to the cause of this board. when I see his name on the last reply to a thread I know that I will enjoy reading what he has to say.

Almost anything he’s written on the boards has impressed me. I am always amazed at the breadth of his knowledge as well as the way he doesn’t make other people feel stupid.

The only thing I wonder is why do we never see Deb?

But I agree: tom’s a very smart and eloquent guy, who adds a lot to these boards.
