I’m using Tapatalk on an iPhone and every time I open the Trivia Dominoes thread today and go to the last page, Tapatalk crashes: screen goes black, and then goes to the initial screen on my iPhone, showing the app icons. I have to tap Tapatalk and start again.
Anyone else having this problem? I wonder if the Trivia Dominoes thread is just too massive for Tapatalk to handle?
Haven’t had this problem with any other threads today.
There was a link in one post (that was repeated in a quote) that linked directly to a full size image on wikimedia commons, and that image is FREAKING HUGE. Tapatalk may have been choking on loading that image. I changed the link to the wikimedia page for that image. If anyone wants to view the full size image they can click on the link to it from there.
Let me know if you can access the thread now.
Thanks - tried it just now and it still crashed. I briefly saw a reference to Rembrandt and an icon for a link, with the spinning wheel as it tried to load, and some poster saying “that link isn’t working for me”, then black again.
I missed the link in the quote (actually I saw it but I accidentally edited the wrong link). Try it now.
Still crashes, but not as quickly.
I can open the thread, starting with Sampiro’s very first post.
When I go to “last page” I see a lengthy post from gkster, mentioning Rembrandt.
I tried to scroll up and there’s another post with a link embedded. The page freezes so I can’t move past that box, nor see who that poster is.
The spinning wheel is showing in the link box. Above that the poster has written “May be an iPad thing”
Then it crashes TapaTalk.
That’s the post where the links to the image are.
I have temporarily removed all of those links. Let me know if it crashes now.
Nope, still crashing when it freezes at the post with “May be an iPad thing”
Try refreshing the page. I tried it on my tablet and it’s not crashing.
That’s fixed it - thanks!
I’ve put what I think are non-crashing links back in place. If anyone has an issue with them, please let me know.
