“Die, die, you’ll all diiiiieee. <giggle>”
No physiological differences. Subject is relying factual acount.
Cold it was… like a stink’n draught from a slaughter house…
No, Scotty. You blink the lamps… Like this.
I know how to applause.
She was my daughter.
An awful lot of AUs were used in this episode.
Sulu: “With an armful of this stuff, I wouldn’t be afraid of a supernova!”
Also Sulu: “I wonder what it is we’re not supposed to be afraid of.”
Oh - at the end it was in Hengist.
The host was Jairus, Jarius, Jaris, Jarus, or some form of that name.
The guy who played him was also Landru.
The planet…? Still a blank.
I though Jaris was the head honcho, not the little bald offworlder cop guy they beamed into space?
I meant the host of the party, not the host of the killing thingy
What was the question?
Oh, I read it wrong.
Hmmm… Hengist came from…
uh, Rigel IV? that knife came from hill people in something IV
Rigel’s system must just be packed!
Wasn’t Rigel VII the place where Pike lost a crewman? The re-enactment is done by the Talosians in The Cage.
And Rigellian Fever? Which of Rigel’s planets does that come from?
I think the Orions are from Rigel something or other too.
Orion and Rigel are different stars.
The former lurker scores on both Mr. Hengist and Rigel IV. But he should know that Orion is a constellation, not a star, and that Rigel is one of the bright stars in that constellation. (It marks one knee of the mighty hunter. Betelgeuse is his armpit.) Though those facts never came up in a Trek series, to my knowledge.
Who’s got some more questions?
In “The Cage/Menagerie,” what was the name of Pike’s horse?
In “The Trouble With Tribbles,” how many insulting comparisons does Korax make to get Scotty upset in the bar?
Which occasional TOS fellow also showed up on Reliant in ST2WOK?
How many different actors have played the character James T. Kirk?
I’m not talking about shape shifting characters…
How many times has James T. Kirk fallen in love? Can you name the objects of his desire? Or the episodes that revealed them to us?
Hm… there’re seventy nine episodes of TOS and he was in seven of the movies so I’m goin’ to guess eighty six times.
Not shagged… I mean real feelings. Like he for _______ in the episode _______, when the _______ zapped his ______ and thought his name was ________ and they al dressed like ______.
He had it bad for Reena in “Requiem for Methuselah.”
He seemed genuinely interested in Lenore Karidian in “The Conscience of the King.”
He loved and lost Edith Keeler in “City on the Edge of Forever.”
He might have done it with Odona in “The Mark of Gideon.”
He loved Carol Marcus long enough to have a son with her.
How’m I doing?
You forgot the Indians
And an inanimate object
Don’t forget the chick he was cooking breakfast for in Generations. And the Native American woman in the episode with the Preservers too.
