At one time octopus was legitimately a really cool poster and I liked him a lot. The Tony Clifton persona he put on after awhile is so disappointing. Every now and then you see the old octo surface.
He just repeated the same information he gave in ATMB. And ATMB allows people to get quite far into Pit territory, as at least some posters took well advantage.
I disagreed with the moderation choice (of closing the thread before discussion), but I still agree that the reaction was way over the top. I’m actually surprised that the ATMB thread itself didn’t get a time out since it was getting so heated.
