Yep. I ignored it after I read a couple of their posts. Not sure if it’s crossed the line into trolling, but clearly no value for me to read.

That got my attention too, although at the time I wasn’t sure if it was troll or generic asshole.
What makes me think troll is their posts in the “Now that Elon Muck has bought Twitter” thread. Yes it’s the Pit, but the mixed messages of “now I’m going to criticize Elon” and “no one can criticize him” seems calculated.
And this bit in reference to calling Musk “Cornholio Vanderbilt” is trollish all on its own.
I dunno, seems wrong to be insulting the most economically successful African-American with corn based humour.
I’m not sure there’s anybody who has yet to be fooled by him yet.

Agreed about Bbbb. His first few posts here were pretty hardcore RW. Then suddenly he switched sides and is liberal tortured by the recent turn of US politics.

The one I came here to bitch about is Ash_trav511. He claims to be an Indian (Bharati) living in India. But he’s certainly an expert on being a US left-winger. Most specifically in the Kamala 2028 thread. And he writes a lot more like someone using US English, not Indian English.
And just now in the Keir Starmer thread he’s shown himself to be equally expert on all aspects of British left wingery too.
I acknowledge that I post a lot and am probably an annoyance to some people just for that reason alone. Once this guy gets a thread in his sights, it sorta turns into his blog. Or maybe a challenge and response dialog where every other post is his. With the consequence that even blocking him does not result in a useable thread once he’s become a participant in it.
He might not be a deliberate bad-faith troll as such, but he’s certainly a blindly monomaniacal source of annoyance. Sorta the rebirth of the late unlamented SamuelA, but hipped on politics, not on sci-fi tech.

I’m sorry for feeding him in the Starmer thread. But his ‘just asking questions’ act really got under my skin. Repeating Daily Mail and Musk sound bites as if they are gospel winds me up.
Yeah, whoever they are, they’re a total dumbass. Let’s push 'em to the margin until the inevitable flameout.
