I’m not posting to get a reaction and I have not indicated I am posting only for lib tears, very much the contrary. I have been engaging in good faith with anyone who has shown an interest in that. I do not care if I wasn’t always polite, I do not have to be in the pit.

We get an automated notice when a poster has been ignored by five other posters. It triggers for every five people that put them on ignore, so if fifteen people ignore someone, we get three notifications about it.

Perhaps @Miller might just close the Charlie Kirk thread for a few days? That technique seems to have been effective with other runaway discussions. No banning/ignoring/suspending needed!

I have an interest in the Kirk thread, mainly as an experiment on how much intellectual dishonesty a single group of people can manifest before they collapse into the singularity, and I do not post on anyone else’s schedule.

Whew, thanks, @What_Exit and a thought that hit me as I was reading the sauerkraut responses: What about splitting all those posts off to a new thread in Cafe Society? Title it, oh, how about “Fun With Sauerkraut” maybe? Then this thread could get back (more or less) on track, while I could garner more suggestions for adventures in kraut cooking? If it’s not too much hassle for you?
