Yeah I saw that thread before Miller wisely changed the title and it was shocking. Perhaps the most offensive thread title I’ve ever seen on this board. I read through the first 20 or so posts before realizing it was 22+ years old!

People have them right now. They’re just not encouraged to express them on this board any longer.
But you can also pretty well assume they’re being encouraged now to make up that difference out in the world. And they probably are.
And unfortunately, we still struggle with misogyny. Not nearly as often as we used to, but there are still active posters who believe that misogynistic slurs are allowable if they are used against “bad” women, and any objection against those slurs is defending those women and endorsing whatever makes them bad.
“Bad” is such a relative term.

I see one of the longtime down-low MAGA trolls, Hurrilon, is overplaying their hand in GD by branching out into overt climate change denial.
In both style and username (after an admittedly cursory look), they remind me of HurricaneDitka.

A quick review of their posting makes me think so and either way it was a troll and not a poster.
