Yup, got to agree with Dead Badger; I’m afraid it looks like a problem with your ISP. Which apparently started sometime Friday – after working hours, I’d wager?
I think the problem is actually your ISP’s (AshlandFiber) connection to a local broadband backbone provider (LS Networks) – which is the route your ISP has determined it should use to access LJ’s web site. You need to contact your ISP’s tech support.
Since this is apparently only a localized problem (i.e., routing for most IP addresses works), AFN may have decided it’s not worth their technicians’ overtime expenses to fix over the weekend. In which case you’re hosed until Monday morning (and should probably consider switching ISPs, too)

The problem started Friday morning (late Thursday?) – I obviously should have called before they closed on Friday to see what was what.
It looks like I will have to wait until Monday morning to fix it. Fortunately, although it may seem like the most important part of the internets some days, LJ isn’t strictly necessary for daily function.
THANK YOU to all y’all for walking me through it – I’ll let you know what happens when I get a reply from Tech Support.
So, I got on my computer at maybe 9 AM this morning, and the problem was resolved.
…WTF? I mean, yay for being able to kill time on LJ again, but huh?
Thank you to everyone who helped troubleshoot and made me feel like I was making some progress – I can only assume some tech came in first thing and fixed it.
(I talked to a few friends in the city who also had trouble with LJ over the weekend, so it looks as if the ISP diagnosis was correct. Well-spotted!)
