They covered this in one of the earlier episodes when they were discussing Bill’s possible sentence from the Magister. Apparently a vampire won’t die from starvation. They just turn into dried-out desiccated husks, and it’s really unpleasant, but not fatal.
I am kind of sad that the witches seem to be introduced with Lafayette and Arlene.
I’ve only read summaries of the books, but doesn’t that mean we likely won’t get naked, amnesiac Eric who gets together with Sookie? Didn’t the witches come in through that storyline?
Would that anal-retentive freak leave behind one of her dolls? I don’t think so.
I thought it was more of a Symbol of the family life that Hoyt and Jessica are never going to have no matter how much they pretend.
A qualified yes The witches as a plotline are part of book 4 but the Jesus isn’t a book character and Holly appears in the books long before the bad witches do. She starts working at Merlot’s in the second book and is friendly with Sookie, which is why Sookie turns to her for answers/asking for help to fix Eric during book four. It seems like they’re setting up the same now, doesn’t it? So really, I think their introduction is evidence for the use next season of the plots you spoilered, not against.
Andy has a baggie full of vials of V in his desk. He’s looked at those vials when he was alone in his office, twice, and last episode he opened one and took an exploratory sniff. So I think it’s logical to assume the next step is he’s going to take just a liiiiiittttle taste…
Heads up:
This week’s TV guide has a tiny spoiler for next season. Basically what we spoiler boxed in posts 87 and 91 is correct…and there’s a vague hint about that doll.
I just caught up and I have to say… having read all the books… I have no effin’ clue where they’re going with any of this! Which is both frustrating and nice (since it means the show isn’t automatically spoilered for having read the books.)
