Sookie flashed back to the faerie attack, took a second to realize that it was tara back.
I thought it was her telepathy, and she just caught a glimpse of how fucked up Tara is after the whole vampire kidnap and slavery stuff and everything else… A sort of ‘something’s seriously wrong with her, and it’s gonna come out eventually’ foreboding thing.
Since this thread is titled specifically as an episode thread, someone should probably start a new one.
Will Jason suddenly show his unknown power and escape the panther trap? He can not be the only one in the world without powers.
Has his power been revealed on the show yet? I never read the books so I don’t remember if I learned it from the show or from here. Unless he has a power beyond the ability to seduce/manipulate people with his looks…it doesn’t look so good for him at this point.
Well considering they can be kept in and out of houses with a few words, it seems reasonable that words carry a lot of weight to vampires if spoken by the right people.
I wonder if his fairy blood will make him immune from being turned into a were-panther.
Yeah, I thought so too… Hold on a second… Here we go.
Got a request to move the end of the other thread to a new thread. If I moved something I shouldn’t have, or gave the new thread the wrong title, let me know.
That’s what I was wondering when I posted the question above. And I’m glad to see we’re not all using the affected “faerie” spelling.
I’m not sure if you’re exaggerating, but many (if not most) characters on the show do not have powers, such as Arleen, Terry, the sheriff, Hoyt, etc.
Nah, it was definitely the star trek fairies she saw rushing at her for a moment. Sookie’s suffering from PDSD, you know.
Joey P, if you want to know if she immediately offers him a ride home or not, check out the season 4 trailer on youtube. Apparently the very end of the trailer covers the beginning of episode three, which I didn’t know when it was released a couple of weeks ago. I thought it just covered the season premiere, but it has stuff from this episode and that final scene we still haven’t seen yet.
I can’t believe that they really killed off Sophie Anne. And made Bill a king! At least he’s going to be a lot more interesting now than in the remainder of the books (in the books he ceases to be a focal character right around…now). Considering the other possibility of how they could have changed things to keep Bill in the spotlight for the show, I’m okay with this turn of events.
And what do you all think about baby Mikey? Is he evil, or is Arlene just losing her shit? I’m leaning towards the latter, but in Bon Temps you never know… Does anyone know what happened to her older kids? The “teacup humans” haven’t been around for a while, but one presumes the beheaded Barbies belong to Lisa.
Post-Dramatic Stress Disorder
I bet the writers aren’t even sure, and they’re just setting things up for either possibility later.
They’re spending time at camp with their Mormon cousin, Teenie.
I am thinking about Arlene’s baby that they’re going to play the “is he or isn’t he” game. It will be ambiguous. Arlene will forever be saying, “look - look, he’s doing it again. Baby did this evil thing! Baby did that evil thing!” And it will be unclear, there will be an explanation, Arlene will be thought to be crazy…but…maybe the baby IS evil? Nah!..Is he? Can’t be! …but how do you explain (fill in the blank)…
The word ‘fairy’ brings up visions of Tinkerbell and cute little beings with wings flitting around the rose garden. The word ‘faerie’ encompasses quite a large fictional world of supernatural creatures, and some of them are downright bastards. Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell features one of the latter.
I’m already thinking this way
The baby’s eyes are kind of strange when shown close up, aren’t they? Less white shows than any other baby I’ve ever seen.
