True or false

True. Miller’s Crossing. And I’m not trying to give Fargo the high hat.

TNP will watch zero football this weekend.

Very False, I watched about one quarter of a high school game on Friday, two and a half college games yesterday(mostly flipping between games, though), and will watch at least one pro game today.

TNP plans to watch at least some of the World Series.

True. My son is a big Yankees fan and he now lives in LA, so he’ll root for the Dodgers and against the Red Sox; I’m sure I’ll watch several games with him.

TNP can guess, within 5 years, how many years it’s been since the Dodgers won a World Series title.

True. I’m not American, and I know nothing about… I want to say… baseball? But I can totally take a guess. Um. Three?

TNP may look like a regular human from the outside, but inside of them, there’s actually a SPOOOKY skeleton.

False, just had some xrays done, and the Dr. didn’t mention anything about Spooky, just a bit of arthritis.

TNP wasn’t thinking about it, but now that I mention it realizes they need to pee.

True. No explanation needed.

Plus, Go Arachnid Laser, I think I meant a CORRECT guess but I wasn’t specific enough, closer to 30 years would have been right.

TNP likes owning a big dog breed rather than a small dog breed.

Yes, I generally find bigger dogs more appealing and have little use for toy breeds (or as Carlin referred to them “those little hairless things that shake and piss”)

TNP has not chewed bubble gum during the past year

True, but not just bubble - any gum. It’s probably been close to forty years (never been a gum person).

TNP despises the sound of someone cracking chewing gum.

Mostly true but situationaly dependent. Typically only a problem after several minutes of having to listen to this.

TNP is completely unfazed by the sound of cracking knuckles.

True. A cow-orker did an impressive back crack the other day and I was jealous.

TNP regularly uses an expression that his or her dad used to say.

No, but I did quote my grandfather just the other day: “Be not the first by whom the new is tried, nor yet the last to lay the old aside.”

TNP agrees with that sentiment.

False. Not totally, anyway.

TNP does not know the teams playing in the World Series.

False. I watched some of Game 1 (Dodgers v. Red Sox) tonight.

TNP has a favorite between those two teams.

False, but I usually root for the underdog - so that’s the Dodgers tonight.

TNP hopes the Series goes to seven games.

True. I would watch game seven.

TNP thinks about retirement regularly.

False. The day I retire is the day I die.

TNP speaks a non-English language fluently.

Ich spreche Deutsch, aber nicht su gut. I speak some German, some Turkish, and some Spanish, but I am not fluent at all.

The next person gave to a charity recently.

(Recent can go back as far as you need  )

Madame P. and I donated a couple of her handmade embroideries to an auction benefiting a pet shelter. I don’t know how well that went.
The Next Person likes cilantro.

Meh, I could take it or leave it.

TNP prefers oregano to cinnamon.

For sure, I use dried oregano regularly as a seasoning, cinnamon almost never, except for the occasional dessert. I am not a fan of cinnamon in savory dishes.

TNP has Google Assistant or Alexa.
