True story

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days
interesting.

Well, for example, the other day Mrs. BarnOwl and I went into downtown Danbury to shop. We were oin one store for just about 5 minutes. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.
I went up to him and said, “Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen
a break?” He ignored us and continued writing the ticket. I called him a
Nazi turd. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having
worn tires.

So Mrs. B. called him a shithead. He finished the second ticket and put it
on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket.

This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets
he wrote.

Personally, we didn’t care. We went by bus.

We try to have a little fun each day now that we’re retired. It’s important at our age.

( I lied. Actually, this is a joke.)

Cute

I’m gonna pass this along to my dad. He just started his retirement last week!

I love starting my day off with a giggle-snort. That was funny.

I am SO not telling this to my grandfather! He’d be likely to try it, although any cop who believes he can drive needs glasses.

That reminds me of a bit by [a comic whose name escapes me at the moment]. He said that since he bacame successful he had gobs of money. So he would run stop signs on very rainy nights just to make the cop get out into the weather.

Cop: Do you know why I pulled you over?
Comic: Do you know why I ran the stop sign?

That was Drew Carey.
