I’m so pleased to hear you’re getting along so well. Florida’s been all dreary since you left. Let me know if you ever get back down for a visit, although I suspect that won’t be popping up on your To-Do list for a while.

Katie, I don’t know all her plans, but HOTB is getting married in March and she’s in the wedding party, so she’ll be down then for sure.

Thanks, all, on the congrats on the apartment. A little more details on it…
It’s a basement apartment, about 10 minutes drive from lurker, and about 10 blocks from the train. It’ll take me about an hour to get to work, but that just means I’ll have plenty of reading time. (Any book suggestions, please feel free to e-mail them!) The eat-in-kitchen is nicely sized, with plenty of cabinet space and a nice little window over the sink. The living area should have plenty of room for my computer, TV, VCR, couch and chair, and I’m planning on buying a queen-sized bed for the bedroom, along with a dresser, if I can find an inexpensive one. The bathroom also has plenty of storage space and, from the looks of it, a nice sized tub where I’ll probably spend many a weekend taking a relaxing bath with a glass of wine and a good book. My landlord is the owner of the house (duh!) and seems to be a very nice Italian lady… short as me, which is a definite plus! She seemed good about letting me have my privacy, but also being there if I needed something, which is very cool. Other than that… well, I’m not really sure yet. As pucette mentioned, I’ll be moving in July 1, so I should have more details after that. I’m hoping to be able to have a little housewarming party some time in the first month, so I’ll be able to answer Watermelon Man’s question about the wild parties!

katiekilldare, you better believe I’ll let you know when I’m coming down!!! I don’t think it will be before March, for HotB’s wedding, but you never know!!!
