Biden needs to not make the same mistake. The Trump campaign literally exposed him and an entire audience of citizens to COVID. Then they went and exposed more people on Thursday.
They lied about it. In any other world, these people would be arrested for reckless endangerment, possibly… in time… manslaughter.
We already have the evidence they don’t care if Dems get it. We already have the evidence that they considered Biden ‘frail’. And to still allow him to be exposed? Criminal negligence at best. And Biden would be best served to act a little pissed, at least on his wife’s behalf (she was there too, as well as his other guests).
So, in my dream scenario, Biden needs to go on TV, mask on face, and say 'Donald Trump, knowing how dangerous the disease is since February, last week ignored mine and Jill’s health as cavalierly as he and his party ignored 7,000,000 sick and 200,000 dead Americans.
He is now frail, bed-ridden, as the virus which he allowed to kill American citizens is now working its will on him. Because the virus doesn’t care about ideology. It doesn’t care about it being called a ‘hoax’. It is at war with America, and Donald Trump surrendered without firing a shot while the virus kept fighting… and now, the President himself is a casualty in the War against COVID.
You have a choice this November. You can chose the party and President which want to give you health care during a pandemic, or you can choose the party and President who has already slaughtered 200,000 citizens and is arguing before the Supreme Court to destroy the Affordable Care Act, including removing pre-existing conditions. During a pandemic. You can choose the party and President which surrendered to COVID, or you can choose the President and party who believes that all of us… Americans… can beat this… all of this… just as we beat the fascists back in the 1940s.

Like I said, a fantasy. But Biden may catch himself in a Kitty trap if he doesn’t express some anger at the personal danger to him, his family, his campaign staff, and the rest of the audience and workers.

As a moderate Republican who actually likes Biden, and cannot wait to be rid of Trump, for me it isn’t even a fear of conspiracy theories. It is the fact that pure dumb luck seems to favor Trump in every circumstance. He keeps stepping in shit and always comes out smelling like roses. He has made infinite fatal mistakes and just keeps lumbering into success. Trump is like a movie monster, no matter how he is resisted and how slow his pursuit may be, he always catches you in the end.
Plus, his allies are much smarter than he is. Look how McConnell has packed the lower courts with conservative judges across the last two administrations. Trump doesn’t have to be a strategist to be used by his puppet masters.
Of course this is no sophisticated long game that Trump devised. The danger is that he recovers and uses the experience to gain either sympathy or “now he knows better” votes and wins the damn election. It doesn’t have to be a conspiracy to be effective.

I was wondering why the doctor was being so cagey about the oxygen question. Now everything he said is in question because it’s about what he didn’t say.
I’m wondering if they were giving him supplemental oxygen right before the walk to the helicopter.

Much easier to get him hopped up on pure oxygen right before the walk, remove that tank, walk, get in helicopter where there is a 2nd tank waiting for him.
