“MINNEAPOLIS – Three Minnesota congressmen are facing backlash over taking a commercial flight home from Washington, D.C., on Friday night just two days after they shared Air Force One with President Donald Trump.
U.S. Reps. Pete Stauber, Tom Emmer and Jim Hagedorn all were on the same Delta Airlines flight despite the airline’s restrictions on passengers recently exposed to COVID-19. Trump announced early Friday morning he had tested positive for the virus.
Delta’s policy says customers who know they were exposed to the virus in the past 14 days cannot travel on the company’s aircraft. The airline defines exposure as face-to-face contact with someone carrying the virus, or sustained contact for more than 15 minutes less than 6 feet apart.”

You win!
So who wears a sports coat while in the hospital? And, funny, that didn’t look much like a hospital room, more like an office at the White House.
Stormy would be an excellent choice for this administration.
It’s nothing like a standard hospital room, that hospital has a six room suite with offices and a conference room reserved for the President. I see no reason to doubt that those photos were taken at Walter Reed.
That said, I’m sure he dragged himself out of bed for a few minutes and posed for a couple of photos in different parts of his suite. I seriously doubt he was actually working.
This no doubt applies to many of his photos from the last four years.
Brilliant!
(Seriously, I cringe hard every time I see a Trump tweet WITH DIMB TIPOS AND EXCJAMATION OOINYS!!! like he’s eight years old.)
The Walter Reed Presidential Suite is more like a hotel room than a hospital room. The hospital ‘room’ he’s staying in, is probably larger than the average American’s house/apartment.
Now, these pics are from the old Walter Reed. I’m assuming the Presidential digs at the new place are similar, but I haven’t been able to find photod
Those cupboard doors look awfully drab for a Presidential Suite. Especially compared to the photos of the old Suite. He looks like he’s working at a utilitarian table, not a fancy desk like in the old Suite. Why are there flags sitting in front of cupboard doors that would have to be moved to access supplies?
It’s crazy.
I work for small county government. IS/GIS department.
When this got serious in March, we were all sent to work from home and all set up within about a week.
Knowing that some people would have to go to work to do their jobs or just pick something up, we had an online tracing/tracking system set up in one week. You must fill it out if you go to work, if someone ends up sick, we will know who else was in the building.
A coworker took her work desk and an extra monitor home for instance. Did it on a weekend but filled out the tracking form.
We where all asked 'Who is especially vulnerable to COVID" a list of aspects of vulnerabilities included. We knew very little at the time. But anyone compromised (say immune deficiency) would be given special consideration. HIPPA was a concern, and is being followed.
TLAS of it is we jumped on it right away. As such, have had very little confusion or problems, and are doing our jobs just fine.
Probably wasn’t wearing pants either. Sorry.
Apparently the photos were staged even more than normal.

Ah, and you can see his blazer draped over the back of the chair in the conference room photo.
So they took the first one, then walked him into another room and had him take off his coat for the second one.
And as somebody int he twitter thread pointed out - who the heck uses a giant sharpie to do any kind of actual work?
ETA: It’s the same stuff on the desk, too - a black binder and a sack of red folders. Yeah, they’re really bad at this.
Michael Moore and Joy Reid are Trump/COVID truthers.
I think that’s all he really uses, aside from the ceremonial pens presidents use to sign bills. He doesn’t actually write anything - just scribbles on everything.
What would be the basis for their lawsuit? They knew perfectly well that Trump’s policy had long been to ignore the virus, to ignore scientific advice, to refuse to implement safety measures either in national policy or personal behavior. And they were keen to meet with him to donate money to promote the continuation of his policies. They got exactly what they were paying for.
Like a four year old spending a day at the office with his mom or dad. Give him some markers and stack of printed paper you pulled out of the recycling bin.
