Trump Cabinet Count Prediction Contest

Since we could all use a bit of levity, let predict the final count of cabinet officers during Trump’s 2nd term. The rules:

  1. The officers are the 15 cabinet officials (secretaries and AG), along with Administrator of EPA, Director of OMB, Director of National Intelligence, Director of the CIA, Trade Representative, Ambassador to the UN, Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, Administrator of the SBA, Director of The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and Chief of Staff.
  2. The officers must be named and confirmed, unless served in Acting Capacity until the end of the term. For example, Matthew Whitaker would not count, but Jeffrey Rosen would.
  3. The contest runs from January 20, 2025 to January 20, 2029. If Trump fails to complete his second term, the contest will continue with whoever assumes office.
  4. Tiebreaker: Predict the shortest official’s term in Scaramuccis (11 days)
