Trump has Suggested Americans Google a Sex Tape

Let me see if I’ve connected the dots properly. Donald Trump, who had previously humiliated a woman, now accuses her of making a sex tape.

Therefore Hillary Clinton should not be elected President.

TruTV would have no qualms, and the standards of cable television in other countries are often not the same as our own.

As I understand the situation, Alicia Machado attacked Trump and Trump returned the favor.

It was Alicia Machado who chose to enter the world of politics. Her choice. Claims that her past should not be discussed when she chose to discuss Trump’s past is absurd. Did Machado actually threaten to kill a judge who was going to sentence her current boyfriend to prison? Was Machado actually driving a getaway car? Did Machado tell people during the competition that she, and the other contestants, were bulimic and anorexic?

No one cared about Machado (or remembered her) until she chose to draw attention to herself by entering politics. Machado could have hired a publicist, taken out ads, weaseled her way on to talk shows, or dozens of other, non-political, ways of drawing attention to herself. Maybe she’s hoping to jump start her career and Hillary just wanted to help her get some publicity?

Does anyone know if the contestants in these large beauty pageants are required to maintain a weight that allows them to wear the gowns/clothes/shoes they wear for one year of personal appearances, provided they win, of course?

The rest of your post shows that you clearly don’t…but reading this thread, previous threads talking about the same subject and all the different news reports could greatly enhance your understanding if you make use of them.
Have fun!

And “Miss Housekeeping” …

The “link” is Trump’s presidential mindset: he believes that conning voters into believing that a person is somehow “not nice” would somehow justify whatever verbal vomit he misses the toilet with, no matter what it verifies of his misogynistic and racist vision of the world.

Look, Donald is, objectively, fat. His wife has done topless photos that were somewhat steamy. And neither of those are relevant to why he should lose this election. They do make his tendency to use overweight as an insult, and his condemnation of doing sexually suggestive photos, even more very very strange.

But the issue is not the fact that he is wrong about Machado. The issue is his behaviors. If a Machado had become a female overweight Hispanic banker who defrauded her customers, who deserves jail time for her crimes, it would still hold. Having previously attacked and currently attacking on the overweight and referencing the ethnicity with a negative stereotype would still be wrong and very dumb.

I think it’s simply that over the past 20 years or so, the GOP has gone to embracing some version of machismo that has morphed into dickishness. They think that a real macho man, as opposed to pussy liberals, are dicks. They like that Trump is a dick. This is another example of him being a dick, and it won’t sway them against him.

As I understand it, Trump chose to run for President and thus has opened himself and his entire life to the scrutiny and public vetting process of running for POTUS.

Too late for him to cry about the fact that the world is getting a deep in personal look into the kind of asshole he really is.

How about his latest twitter rant?

This is inaccurate.

From wiki… sex tape…
A celebrity sex tape is typically an amateur* pornographic** video recording involving one or more celebrity famous person(s) which has, intentionally or unintentionally, been made available publicly. *

emph mine.

If, as they say, I’ll know pornography when I see it, I’ve not seen it in this case.

#4. Trump may not agree, but Trump thinks he won the debate too, because “the cyber.”

Exactly, by reading what his surrogates post on “The Facebook” and “The Twitter”.

When did Alicia Machado attack Trump before he called her Miss Piggy and Miss Housekeeping and made her work out in public in front of journalists while disparaging her weight? If she didn’t, then in fact Trump attacked her first and she decided to “return the favor”.

From what I’ve seen it could probably run on broadcast network (probably at night though), and certainly basic cable.

Something about being “best served cold”?

I’ve seen more explicit stuff in Shonda Rimes’ shows.

Said in another thread, I really didn’t get this at first, until I remembered the only time I stayed in a hotel above the Motel 6 level. The polite, almost demure knock at the door and the voice “Housekeeping”. Not knowing what was expected, I opened the door to find a pleasant-looking Hispanic woman with a cart full of cleaning stuff.

At first I thought it was some obscure version of “Miss Congeniality” or somesuch. But no, Trump was dumping on her by suggesting she might work in a low-pay, low status job like “housekeeping”.

Pre-emptive counter-punching.

Of course your understanding is a bit strained.

But let us try to spell it out is very simple steps.

In the past Trump immaturely insulted Ms. Machado in a misogynistic and racist manner. The justification for that tirade was her having not maintained some arbitrary level of thinness that he felt she should have. Sometime after that she posed topless and is alleged to be seen under the covers in a reality show tape that is presented as her having sex. Donald is objectively clinically obese and his wife has posed topless in very suggestive shoots. (Both fine by me btw.) He apparently has also been an adulterer.

His misogynistic and racist insulting of Ms Machado was brought up in the debate and Ms Machado is campaigning for Clinton.

Is reporting an accurate past record of misogynistic and racist insulting of people an out of bounds “attack” on a person running to be president of a diverse country?

Does an allegation, irrelevantly false, pretend it is true, that the person insulted later, or even previously, did some things that were “not nice” impact the meaning and significance of those racist and misogynistic behaviors by someone running for president of our diverse country? Do they justify racist and misogynistic insults?

No, no, and no.

The man is objectively a sexist racist asshole.

Guess what? It also is not okay if calls a Jewish man a fat kike even if that Jewish man is both obese and a rapist pediophile. (The difference being that in this case the analogy would be the man only has a little spare tire and what he actually did was kiss his daughter on the cheek dropping her off at school embarrassing her in public. But immaterial.)

This whole sub-thread reminds me of when my oldest was either in pre-K or kindergarten, and came home and told me " it’s OK to hit someone if they hit you back".

I’m sorry, how did she attack Trump? By gaining weight? Do you think that when he called her Miss Piggy and Miss Housekeeping, this was OK?

Did she “attack” Trump by being offended at these insults, and not being a good little girl and accepting this from her betters?

This argument that “she attacked Trump” is seriously deranged.

It is absolutely bizzare to see people try to defend Trump’s indefensible behavior. Weeks before the election the GOP’s candidate is choosing to spend his time arguing with a beauty pageant contestant and conservatives are trying to somehow quibble absurd points about what is or is not a sex tape. The issue is the temperament and quite honestly, the sanity of a major party’s candidate. I’ve lost whatever respect I might have had for posters who choose to pretend that they believe what they are spouting here.
