They’d just goose the final numbers via (likely) declaring they have Evidence They Can’t Show that results from Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, etc. are FRAUDULENT and must be discarded.

Hmm…people are familiar enough with ‘Ozempic face’ at this point. So does Orange Julius Caesar have ‘Experimental GLP-1 face,’ or is he just looking like hell because of assorted advancing illnesses?
Only covered entities as defined by law have HIPAA obligations. If one has HIPAA obligations, one can’t even issue a denial (which was finally issued).
Anyone in the Whitehouse (except the physician) could answer this question and not run afoul of HIPAA.
HIPAA is very specific in this regard. Health insurers, who are covered entities, have a HIPAA duty to protect health information. Life insurers, who are not covered entities but collect tons of health information, have no HIPAA obligations.
HIPAA is not some universal duty. If you stumble across Trump’s health info, feel free to share it. If this info is not being shared, it’s not because HIPAA broadly prohibits it.
“Ozempic face” isn’t universal. My doctor started me on it at the beginning of last year and transitioned me to Mounjaro in January, and I’ve lost 50 pounds since then, but I don’t have the sallow look people associate with it.
I did have to order a smaller belt recently and might need to go down a pants size or two soon.
I lost a lot of weight years ago. I went from 255 pounds to around 140 lbs. Diet and exercise, no drugs of any kind. I had what you’d call “Ozempic Face” (though that term didn’t exist because the drug didn’t exist yet).
I’m glad people didn’t just assume I’d taken a drug back then. It would be a shame today for that to happen.
