He was clearly looking at the people and objects he mentioned as he said them and it seemed clear those were examples. I know and ten years ago (even one year ago, to a degree) I would have agreed: the people on board with Trump’s fascist agenda represent only a minority of GOP voters. But it really doesn’t seem that way to me anymore. The absolute best you can say is they are happy to put up with fascism and what Trump is doing to America as long as brown people get deported and women get their reproductive rights taken away

At this point, I suspect that’s the most likely scenario for a significant number of his followers to turn against him. They won’t have a change of heart or admit they were wrong to support him, it’ll be Trump who changed and that’s why they can no longer support him. Though given they’ve continued to support him despite the mountains of evidence he’s the most venal, lying, and incompetent president we’ve ever had, his followers may just run straight off a cliff for him.
