The center has apparently told the court they need another 12 hours to remove the signage due to thunderstorms.

So Donald Trump, who is absolutely desperate to leave his mark on anything and everything, orders his own name to be put on a building. The courts get involved and come to the conclusion that this should not be allowed. And now we’re watching a live feed of workers getting ready to pry those letters off of the building while Trump’s lackeys beg various courts to please just give them a little more time. I don’t recall this ever being an issue with any other President, like… ever.
Well, for what it is worth, I hope Trump has a rage fit when he sees his name getting torn off the building and thrown down into the dust. And I hope that rage fit causes a massive heart attack and stroke. Because you know what bugs me the most about his name being up there? It’s the Donald J. Trump and JFK Memorial Center but Trump isn’t dead! Fulfill the requirement if you want your name up there Donald! (Having said that, the pleadings to the courts are probably assurances that as soon as he dies they can take it down but until then let’s let the giant baby suck on his pacifier)

He doesn’t want people cheering with each letter being removed. Something tells me they will anyway.
Or preventing people from obtaining proof that nothing is being done. He doesn’t want a successful contempt order.
Installation was [probably] done carefully, with few bystanders. Let’s not imagine the shitshow if a worker or witness got hurt during removal/demolition. Did the court order make any mention of restoring the façade, or was it simply ‘remove the name’? The next generation of America may well be spending a lot of time/energy/money filling all the myriad holes left by Trump’s name.
How will they take down the curtain without drama? It will be like the unveiling of a work of art. I hope a large crowd assembles.

Everything about Trump is waste. Wasted lives and huge amounts of wasted money and resources with unnecessary wars. Dismantling of necessary programs that will take large amounts of wasted money to rebuild once he is finally gone. DOGE will end up costing so much more in the long run.
