Trump requests ride in Queen's carriage

Can you teach a pig to sing?

For those who didn’t get the Seinfeld reference.

…and the payoff.

I’m surprised he didn’t demand that the Coronation Coach be shipped here for his Inauguration.

I’m hoping not.

You know, I wrote a short story a long time back about a refugee sneaking across the border. The punchline was that he was sneaking from a collapsed US to an economic powerhouse Mexico.

It was so silly, I tore up the draft.

OMG ! This is so funny ! LOL!

I hope Her Most Gracious Majesty tells him to piss up a rope.

Makes you wonder; did President Xi ask to meet with trump at Mar-A-Lago, or was that Trump’s idea? Who gets to set the agenda for his state visits; the host, the guest, or is it just always Trump, himself?

Truly this is the most evilest thing Trump has ever done and it makes him the worse than Hitler and Obama combined.

No, this is par for the course. Have you not been following politics since the election?

It might be mischievous reading on my part, but it seems the Secret Service guy the reporter talked with was going out of his way to give helpful pointers to would-be assassins, there. “The windows are bulletproof but the carriage is very flimsy and won’t stand to an RPG, bomb or high-powered rifle. See, normally the President travels in a hugely reinforced car, but this one is very vulnerable. To RPGs specifically. Got that ? RPGs. In the carriage, not the reinforced windows. Jot that down. Oh, and armour piercing rounds would really do a number on it too.”

There is a petition in UK to ban Trump from going there .

Shouldn’t that be the other way around?

Should? Yes.

Trump Tower isn’t all that high rent behind the scenes.

Give it time. Like the joke goes…

Trump is talking to Michael Flynn shortly after the election and says, “There are less people who oppose me now than before the election.”

Flynn says, “Fewer.”

Trump replies, “Too soon, but not much longer.”

The Queen is reputedly rather quick-witted, even in her advancing age. The Donald, OTOH, is completely witless, not to mention clueless. He does know how to work Twitter, though, when someone pisses him off, which is almost everyone, almost all the time. This ought to be interesting if his handlers don’t restrain him. It could set back the state of British-American relations 200 years or more. Another Trump legacy.

He’s a moral degenerate, as are his supporters.

Actually, it’s just Drunky Smurf trolling.

I’m not sure that most Brits care all that much about the Queen or the royal family entirely. Based upon the sampling of British people I know (who are, admittedly, largely expats or have come to the US to work in order to get away from Britain) they regard the American media obsession with the British royal family as some kind of odd behavioral quirk bordering on perversion. But it would give John Oliver a two-fer, being able to mock both Donald Trump and Elizabeth II in the same segment. So…that.

Although I’m loathe to dismiss an entire group of people simply because they have views that don’t align with mine or find themselves supporting a candidate because of specific views even if they don’t agree with everything he or she stands for, at this point if you haven’t figured out that not only is Trump a bigoted, infantile, misogynistic, reflexively ignorant, supercilious Internet troll with no clue as to what to do in the job that somewhat less than half of the voters actually elected him to but that he is also pathologically incapable of being honest or recognizing his own failings, well, it kind of says a lot about your own integrity and intellect. The most patently repugnant thing about Trump, his terrible fashion sense, treatment of women, and inability to speak in complete sentences even when reading from a Teleprompter aside, is that he has somehow convened his ardent supports to openly lie in order to dismiss the factually provable criticisms of his actions and statements. He has turned well-meaing if perhaps misguided people into perpetually monophonic fabulists in their attempts to somehow justify the execrable of their candidate of preference.

This is, no joke, exactly word for word what I thought when I saw the thread title
