I missed this as I was watching real news, and the weather channel. Did he say anything stupid?
He made a truly presidential speech, attempting to move past the partisan divisiveness of the past weeks and holding out an olive branch to his political opponents. Gracious in victory, he allowed that it was understandable that some might have viewed his past actions in an unfavourable light, but asked forgiveness and vowed to win those people over by working to move forward in a spirit of bipartisan cooperation.
I actually don’t know if youre being facetious.
I think he got mixed up and was listening to Clinton’s post-impeachment speech.
That was nice, but I particularly like him and Pelosi sharing a hug and then joining in prayer for our men and women in uniform.
Oh come on.
That scenario of Gorsnak’s is about as likely as finding out that the mole-men have been controlling the shape-shifting Lizard People from their secret base on the far side of the moon.
How did you know about that?!?
Trump apparently mocked Mitt Romney for saying that his faith in God inspired him to vote guilty; Trump said that he didn’t like people who used their faith to justify doing something wrong.
Of course, that is literally the entire reason for the National Prayer Breakfast, so…
Well, there Could be someone who believed the speech went that way.
I believe he also said that he doesn’t like people saying that they will ‘pray for him’ when they don’t mean it, which was a reference to Nancy Pelosi, who has said that she does just that.
Was she ever very specific about what she prays will happen to him?
Pelosi’s statements on praying for Trump have always been couched in the context that he was a very sick man who needed our prayers.
Today she said she prays for him because “he’s so far off track.”
