That drives me nuts, too. You’d think that after watching movies and TV their entire lives people would realize that video generally works a lot better in landscape mode…just like a movie or TV screen.
Douchocity? I’m going to steal that word.
There won’t be anything there and he won’t release whatever footage he has access to. If he did, he’d turn over the footage to the minions who could edit the bejeebers on it and make it sound like Stahl was drunkenly urging him to eat babies raw, but I think even that’s too much trouble for him.
How anyone can vote for this malevolent crybaby is beyond me.
Well, to be fair, he has a kitchen staff to cook the babies for him.
(Sorry, it just struck me as funny so I took your absurd characterization out of context and made it even more absurd. I agree with your assertion however; I never could understand how he was nominated, how real operatives agreed to work for him, how he was ever as serious a candidate as Pat Paulson. When he was elected was surreal for me – and it turns out that was the best part of his administration, it has been all down hill since his inauguration.)
If I was ever in a studio to record Trump for an interview I would make damn sure to have every piece of recording equipment I had on him and running and recording non-stop from the moment he entered till he left (I’d make certain I had more than enough storage media on-hand to handle it). And maybe longer if his staff was hanging around.
I wouldn’t do that to anyone else but Trump is a special case.
Just more distracting chaos tornado from Trump-land. See? We are all talking about it!
I forced myself to watch most of it but skipped around. He said the same things he always says, the economy was the greatest ever, we turned the corner on COVID, he has already put out several health care plans etc. Then at the end he complains for a couple of minutes that Stahl dared to ask him tough questions. The interview is not going to help him, not sure if it will hurt him
My impression too. It doesn’t help. Nothing new. Probably doesn’t change anything for anyone.
Dems should create a video of the last couple of minutes with some text about the whiner in chief. Or can they do that, since this is not 60 Minutes footage?
The Chiefs @ Broncos game will be on just before 60 minutes. Usually the games go long so 60 minutes gets pushed back. Just a FYI if you decide to record the show.
I have not seen the footage yet, but read the writeup in the New York Times, which quotes him, “I see Joe Biden getting softball after softball; I’ve seen all of his interviews, he’s never been asked a question that’s hard.”
The man is the freaking POTUS and he’s complaining that he gets hard questions? What kind of wimp is he?
Orange Cheeto releases the 60 Minutes video. Looks to be unredacted complete with outtakes, but who knows:
He embodies the modern Republican party; A bunch of whiny complaining sad little people, who think everyone is picking on them.
“You’re all so meeeeannnn to me! < sobs>”
I’m trying to imagine the reaction if any other POTUS or world leader made the same complaint. Like what if Jimmy Carter in 1980 complained to Mike Wallace, “Hey, why aren’t you asking tough questions of Mr. Reagan?” They’d be laughed off the world stage.
Wasn’t the agreement that his was for archive use only?
yes, but I’m sure Trump felt justified breaking the agreement. Because, you know, tough questions…
They should have put in a penalty clause so he’d owe them money.
No, it’s Stephen Miller. That was already two years ago.
Ah! And concerning OP’s question, does he have something? Yes he has. Neurosyphilis, stage 4.
Unbelievable, thank you for that link.
I thought he had footage of Leslie Stahl talking about grabbing guys by the dong.
