Try something else.

“Ooh, that didn’t work!”

THEN TRY SOMETHING ELSE. Do you think Grandpa Neanderthal gave up that easy?

Fuck, I’m sick of being around people who give up.

No responses.

I don’t think the title of your OP is working very well.
mmm

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!

I’m an engineer. If Plan A doesn’t work go to Plan B.

Do not try. Do, or do not. There is no try.

No. It’s a question of cost-benefit analysis. You have a cheap electric appliance which has a problem. First you spend some looking at it, tearing it apart, and research repair methods on the internet to see if you can fix it in a reasonable length of time. If you can’t you don’t “try, try, again” you give up–throw it away and buy a replacement.

If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again.

If you still don’t succeed, give up. There’s no sense being a damned fool about it.

Yeah, but she’s bounced her way into Plan A, which would’ve been great two years ago, but Today I’m not sure. I don’t recognize her. OTOH, there is nothing more attractive than someone who finds you attractive.

There’s the rub.
Maybe plan A is shy.

Trying is just the first step towards failure.

A girl likes to see a guy trying. You can’t just stand in the corner, hoping. That’ll never do. Get in the game.

I don’t have a plan B, just different ways to make plan A work.

Many seem to follow a sort of governmental approach where if you’re doing something and it’s not working, you just need to do more of it. It seldom works i.e. The war on drugs and anti-gun legislation.
Doing the opposite of what has been tried can often be effective.
Another defect in process is stirring emotion into a fact-based scientific decision. Swearing and throwing a fit don’t matter of bit to that leaky pipe or that flat tire.

I mean, maybe? They did die out.
