How old? I think it was first on a BBS. Basically they’re stories written from the perspective of a grizzled IT manager - half computer scientist half electrical engineer. He does stuff like shred people’s floppies (told ya it was old) or do nothing for 3 weeks then fixes the problem in 5 seconds or remotely erases hard drives. I think it was called “Tales from the” something or other. Oh and he loved emotionally torturing his assistants IIRC.
