Trying to find sound effects for composed music (heartbeat, siren, jet engine, etc.)

I’ve become bored with purely-instrumental music composition - it feels too hollow to me - and I want to add sound effects to enhance my pieces. Does anyone know a free, legit source of such audio material?

For instance, the roar of a rocket launch (for a music piece about a rocket liftoff,) or heartbeat, or breathing, or airbase siren wailing, etc.

Try freesound.org. I don’t know if they will have everything you are looking for but they have a lot of different sounds.
